Hillforts and the Prehistoric Landscape – Our developing Understanding

This was a joint meeting organised by BAS, the Prehistoric Society and the Chilterns Conservation Board. The talk by Professor Barry Cunliffe, acknowledged expert of the Iron Age, was attended by around 180 people in Amersham.

200 people signed into the society’s first Web Conference. Archaeologists from Fusion (HS subcontractor) described recent finds in the areas that they manage, from the Mesolithic to Saxon.
