Sunday 26th June, 12 noon picnic and/or 2pm gardens tour,
with Charles Boot of the Bucks Gardens Trust. An outing to the splendid 18th century landscape gardens at Rousham Park which represent the first phase of English landscape design and remain almost as its designer William Kent left it.
We will meet at the car park ( OX25 4QX for car drivers) at 12 noon for a picnic.
Bring your own picnics and drinks as there are toilets but no catering on site. Tickets for the gardens can be bought at the ticket machine at the entrance, £8 cash or card. The house is not open.
Then we shall gather again in the car park at 2pm for people who want to come only for the garden tour with Charles Boot. It would be good to arrive 15 minutes early as the ticket machine can be slow.
Contact bucksas@discoverbucksmuseum.org if you need a lift and we will try to link people.
